Parents and children are about to benefit from a new school program and a fresh new face as Laura Miltner of Summit Christian School in Fort Myers will be coming here to become the new preschool director at Sanibel Community Church.

Council joins interlocal agreement, supports transit authority

During Tuesday’s meeting, City Council voted unanimously to approve entering the interlocal agreement that will show their support and participation in the creation of an Independent Lee County Transit Authority.

City debates adjusting future Rec Center fees

During their preliminary budget discussion on Tuesday, City Council addressed some of the issues surrounding the Sanibel Recreation Center fees and how to adjust them for the upcoming budget year.
