Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

The folks at American Legion Post 123 would like to invite islanders to their headquarters this Sunday, Oct. 3 for a spaghetti and meatballs meal served all day long.

This Monday, Oct. 4 will be the last 9-Ball Pool Tournament, with games starting at 6 p.m. Next Monday, Oct. 11 marks the beginning of our 8-Ball Pool League, with action starting at 6 p.m.

Then this Tuesday, Oct. 5, the Post 123 Auxiliary meeting will take place starting at 6 p.m.

Mark your calendars for Friday, Oct. 15, because Lamar's fishing for crabs. They'll be for sale if he can catch 'em!

Thursday nights is Texas Hold'em starting at 7 p.m. In addition, Texas Hold'em will be held every Saturday at 3 p.m. New players are always welcome during either weekly game.

Every Friday, we offer a 6 oz. ribeye steak sandwich all day.

Stop in and check out our daily specials and the entire menu. We serve food all day, every day. The public is welcome to attend.

American Legion Post 123, located at 4249 Sanibel-Captiva Road, is open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. For more information, call 472-9979.
