Island Reporter, Captiva Current, Sanibel-Captiva Islander

To the editor,

The Sanibel-Captiva Optimist Club acknowledges and thanks the listed sponsors whose generous contributions made the 2010 Wave of Hope Beach Walk for Kids Cancer Care a very successful fund raiser for Barbara’s Friends of Lee Memorial Hospital Children’s’ Cancer Care and for F.I.S.H. of Sanibel.

The Star Walker this year was Mike Smith, who wins the grand prize by bringing in the largest contribution. We also thank all the walkers and those who brought their dogs for a fun few hours on the beach.
