Silver Chest Antique Show & Sale returns to Sanibel on March 12-13
March 9, 2011
Antique collectors, dealers, home owners and interior designers will find an exceptional variety of antiques, collectibles, and fine art when the nationally-recognized Silver Chest Antique Show returns to the Sanibel Community House, located at 2173 Periwinkle Way, on Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13.
This 2011 edition of the popular show will offer a wide range of prices and an exceptional selection of items — all priced to sell— as national and regional dealers visit Florida’s Gulf coast.
Dealers will bring the best of art glass, silverware, lamps, toys, tools, clocks, bronzes, jewelry, dolls, furniture, porcelain, china, rugs, cut glass and more. Home owners and interior designers looking for fine decor items at bargain prices can join collectors as they browse through this excellent source of collectibles and decorating items for homes and offices.
The show will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 on Sunday. Admission is $5 or $4 with an ad coupon and good for re-admission on both days of the show. The show also features Doll and Crystal Repair booths. Free parking will be available.
The island show, a long-time favorite of knowledgeable south Florida collectors and dealers, is managed by Sanibel Island native and antique show veteran Pete Clapp of a Silver Chest Promotions. He recruits exceptional national and Florida dealers from his highly popular shows in Myrtle Beach, Raleigh and Melbourne and makes it his personal goal to make each show during the year is a better mix of dealers and merchandise than his previous years.
