Kids spring break programs at the library

April 20, 2011
Submitted by CATHY HED

During next week's spring break, the Sanibel Public Library will be offering two special programs for youth.

The first one is an American Girl Party on Monday, April 25 at 1 p.m. We will honor Kanani, the 2011 Girl of the Year, by learning about her life, her culture and the things she is passionate about. If you have an American Girl Doll or a special doll, bring her with you. We’d love to meet her! We will make a Hawaiian craft for both you and your doll. And of course, we will have a snack.

The second program is the Lego Building Club on Tuesday, April 26 at 1 p.m. We have all the Legos, we just need you and your ideas. This is a time for you to make your ideas come alive as you build your ultimate Lego structure.

For additional information on children’s programs offered at the Sanibel Public Library, located at 770 Dunlop Road, call 472-2483 or visit www.sanlib.org.
