Celebrate Lily's birthday this Saturday

Lily & Co. Jewelry Gallery will celebrate their company namesake's 7th birthday this Saturday, April 30 from noon to 4 p.m. Bring your pooch and celebrate with Lily!
The Australian-born Labradoodle is the namesake behind the couture jewelry company. During the open house, pooches will enjoy spring water and gourmet dog biscuits from Island Paws. Additional refreshments will be provided for their two-legged friends by Bailey's General Store.
A raffle table will be filled with items such as a basket of goodies from Island Paws valued at $500, and an item of diamond doggie jewelry valued at $800. All proceeds will be donated to the Animal Refuge Center, the non-profit, non-euthanasia organization in North Fort Myers dedicated to caring for unwanted and neglected dogs and cats.
Tickets are available in advance at Island Paws and Lily & Co. for $1 each or six for $5. Ticket holders need not be present to win.
"We are excited to continue our annual celebration in honor of Lily," said her adoptive mother Bell. "The dogs and their owners just love to come in and dazzle each other with their festive costumes. And they always enjoy the doggie-friendly 'pup'cake we serve."

Dogs are encouraged to wear costumes, with prizes awarded for the crowd favorites. Caricatures will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for a donation to ARC.
Incorporated in 1988, Animal Refuge Center is a not-for-profit animal welfare society, dedicated to caring for all homeless animals brought to its care at its 22 ½ -acre sanctuary in North Fort Myers. The sanctuary houses 36 canine lodges, a Canine Training Center, a Cat Adoption Center,16 feline facilities, and is home to more than 340 cats and 60 dogs.
