The Blue Ribbon Golf Classic returns on Oct. 6 at The Sanctuary Golf Club to raise funds to benefit the Sanibel School Fund and PTA.
The foursome scramble tournament tees off in a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start followed by a dinner at the club. Entry fees are $200 per person for golf and dinner, or $50 dinner only.
Some highlights include a helicopter ball drop and an opportunity to win a car by making a
hole-in-one on the 12th hole along with many other prizes to be awarded.
The Sanibel School Fund and PTA worked hard to raise more than $70,000 in the last school year. The money raised directly benefits the children and Sanibel's award-winning school by providing funding for the foreign language program and essential technology.
Non-golfers are encouraged to become involved by joining them for the post-play dinner and meet the new Spanish teacher, Senora Zavala. Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available.
