Bathroom Magic and Sanibel Cafe took over second and third place in the Sanibel 8-Ball League standings this week with resounding 12-4 wins over Odd Balls and Deep Pockets.
Bob Dupree and Jack Dalton had perfect 4-O nights for Bathroom Magic. John Earle went 4-0 for Sanibel Cafe and Richard McCurry and Randy Carson had 3-1 victories.
Fresh Legion Crew showed Bunt's Ball Busters that their 16-0 victory in the first week of play was just an aberration. The Legion Crew led the Ball Busters 8-4 before coasting to an 8-8 tie over the league leaders.
Bob Buntrock had a 4-0 night for the Ball Busters. Pattee Frank and Gator Gates had 3-1 nights for the Legion Crew.
Jeff Brown went 4-0 and led his Sandycapper team to a solid 11-5 win over Island Lifers. Kevin Pottorf contributed a 3-1 match for the victors.
Matches start every Monday at 5 p.m. at American Legion Post 123. Spectators are welcome.
