Members of the Kiwanis Club of Sanibel-Captiva recently presented a check for $103,950 to Lee Memorial Health System Foundation in support of the Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida capital campaign. The campaign supports construction of a new 128-bed state-of-the-art pediatric medical facility on the grounds of HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers. The funds were directed toward the totals of a recent record-breaking fundraising event known as SanibelCaptiva Cares. Kiwanians, Sanibel-Captiva Cares and hospital administrators attending the ceremony from top to bottom include: Al Hanser, Alan Lane, Doug Congress, Buddy Long, Ric Base, Peter Perkins, George Campean, Bob Smith, Tim O'Neill, Bob Wimbush, Ed Ridlehoover, Maryanne Daly, Jaimie Wimbush, Doug Dietrich, Jerry Edelman, Kate Dietrich, Andy Schroder, Dave Essig, Alan Marcus, Amanda Cross, Jim Nathan, Dick Muench, Dr. Emad Salman, Pete Bender, and Sharon MacDonald
