Cape Coral Police seek robbery suspects

Cape Coral Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred firday around 6:30 p.m. at a check-cashing business on Del Prado Boulevard.

Officials say two men entered the Check-n-Go located at 1109 Del Prado Boulevard South. One displayed a black semi-automatic handgun, then locked the door behind them. They smashed the office phone and ordered employees to open the cash drawer. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot. The suspect in the gray hoodie had his bandanna down during the robbery so he may be recognizable.

The suspects each appear to be about 6-feet tall and 200 pounds. They fled southbound on foot and no vehicle description is available at this time. They were described as black males and the suspect in the gray hoodie may be Hispanic.
