Parents who wish to enroll their child in a specialized high school program must submit their application to the school hosting the program of interest before Feb. 14.

District high schools offer students a variety of specialized academic and career opportunities designed to enhance the overall learning experience. Examples of specialized programs requiring an application made directly to the school are: International Baccalaureate, Center for the Arts, and Cambridge-AICE programs.

Remember, applications to these programs are made directly to the school offering the program. In addition to submitting an application to a special program, families must submit an application for a zone school assignment in case entrance criteria for the specialized program is not met. Zone school applications are accepted at all three of the district's Student Assignment offices. To explore program options, or for more information on the district's student enrollment process, please visit the website of the Lee County School District.
